Vancouver Young Actors School (VYAS) — Theatre

My daughter recently attended the L'il Twinkles class at the Vancouver Young Actors School, and she really enjoyed herself. The instructor, Jenna, was enthusiastic and kept the kids engaged with fun activities, like puppet-making and improvisation games. I was impressed by the small group size, which allowed for more personal attention, and it seemed to help my daughter feel comfortable expressing herself. The only downside was the long lines during pickup; it felt a bit chaotic, especially on the first day. Overall, though, the program was a hit for her. She came home talking about her new friends and all the fun things they created. I would definitely recommend VYAS for parents looking for a supportive and creative environment for their outgoing kids.

The instructor, Sarah, was very engaging and helped the kids feel comfortable expressing themselves. My son was initially shy, but by the end of the session, he was excited to share the little puppet he made in class. The focus on creative projects really helped boost his confidence. However, I did notice that the pickup area was quite crowded, which made it a bit chaotic at times. There were moments when it was hard to find where to collect him. Despite that, I appreciate the inclusive environment and the supportive nature of the staff. I would recommend this program, especially for kids who are looking to explore their creative side in a friendly setting.
