We recently enrolled my 9-year-old daughter in the Pacific Theatre's weekly program in Vancouver. She was initially shy about participating, but the instructor, Sarah, created an engaging environment that encouraged her to express herself. Over the course of the program, my daughter crafted her own character and performed in a short play that focused on themes of friendship and community. It was heartwarming to see her develop confidence in such a supportive atmosphere. However, the pickup process was a bit chaotic due to long lines on performance days, which was frustrating after a long week. Overall, I believe this program is a solid choice for kids who enjoy creative projects and want to explore theatre. I would recommend it, but just be prepared for some wait times during pickups.

My daughter attended the Pacific Theatre program in Vancouver for kids aged 8 to 10, and overall, we had a solid experience. The instructor, Jamie, was really engaging and made sure each child had a chance to participate. My daughter loved working on her original puppet show project, and she even made a new friend! However, I did find the pickup process a bit cumbersome with long lines, especially on the last day when parents gathered to see the final performance. It felt a bit chaotic that day. Despite that, the program fostered her creativity and helped with her shyness, so I would recommend it with a few caveats. Just be prepared for some waiting time during pickup.
