LeBlanc School of Acting — Theatre

My son recently attended the LeBlanc School of Acting's theatre class in Vancouver, and overall, it was a solid experience. The instructor, Lily, was incredibly engaged with the kids, encouraging them to express their creativity while learning the fundamentals of acting. My son built his confidence through a small group project where they created a short skit, which he seemed to thoroughly enjoy. One minor annoyance was the long lines during pickup, which made it a bit stressful at the end of class. Additionally, my son is usually shy, and while he made a friend, he took some time to warm up to the format. The class is priced reasonably for the amount of personal attention each child receives. I would recommend this program for any child looking to explore acting, just be prepared for some wait time during dismissal.

My daughter, who is quite shy, recently joined the LeBlanc School of Acting's theatre program in Vancouver. She’s in the 8 to 10 age group and has been attending weekly classes for the past month. The instructor, Jamie, really connected with the kids and made everyone feel welcome, which helped my daughter open up more than I expected. They worked on improvisation exercises and even created their own short skits, which she absolutely loved. However, I did notice that drop-off times could be a bit chaotic; there were long lines, and it was tough to figure out where to go initially. Despite that, I appreciate the small group size, which allowed for more personalized attention. Overall, I would recommend this program, especially for kids who need a little encouragement to come out of their shells.
