Haven Acting Studio — Theatre

My 15-year-old daughter attended the Haven Acting Studio's theatre program in Vancouver last month, and overall, it was a solid experience. She is quite shy, but the small class size of around 10 students allowed her to open up and express herself more freely. The instructor, Mia, was very engaged and provided valuable feedback during scene studies, which helped boost my daughter’s confidence. They worked on various projects, including an on-camera scene that my daughter loved. One minor annoyance was the additional cost for the final showcase tickets; it felt a bit steep. Still, I appreciate the emphasis on creativity and respect for the craft, making it a worthwhile investment. If your child is creative and looking to break out of their shell, I'd recommend Haven but keep an eye on those extra costs.

In the end, I’d recommend this program for any teen interested in acting, just be prepared for a slightly hectic start.
