We enrolled my son in the weekly tennis program at False Creek Community Centre here in Vancouver, and I found it to be a solid choice overall. The coach, Jake, was very engaging and knew how to keep the kids motivated. My son, who is quite active, particularly enjoyed learning serves and volleys, and he even made a new friend during drills. The small group size allowed for more personalized attention, which was great. One small annoyance was the lack of shade on the courts during the midday heat; I had to keep reminding him to hydrate. But aside from that, the outdoor time was refreshing and offered a nice change from his usual indoor activities. Overall, I would recommend it to other parents, especially if your child loves being active outdoors.

We recently enrolled my 9-year-old in the tennis program at False Creek Community Centre in Vancouver, and overall, it was a solid experience. The instructors, especially Jess, were highly engaged, making the sessions enjoyable and informative. My child improved their serve and even made a friend during the drills, which was a nice bonus. Pickup was smooth, which I appreciated since the facility can be busy. However, the sessions did feel a bit crowded at times, with almost too many kids on the court, which made it hard for the instructors to give individual attention. Despite this, the outdoor atmosphere added a refreshing touch to the lessons. The pricing is reasonable for the quality provided, so I’d recommend it, but be prepared for a lively environment.
