Roundhouse Community Arts & Recreation Centre — Soccer

We recently enrolled my 6-year-old in the soccer program at Roundhouse Community Arts & Recreation Centre in Vancouver. The staff, particularly Coach Jamie, were really engaged and fostered a fun environment, which my son loved. He was able to practice dribbling and passing, and he even scored a goal! The small group size allowed for personalized attention, which was great. However, I did notice that the sessions got a bit crowded, especially during the pickup time, making it challenging to find the right place to wait. Overall, my son had a blast and made some new friends, so I would recommend this program as long as you're prepared for the busy atmosphere.

The instructor, Jake, was enthusiastic and really knew how to keep the kids engaged. They worked on basic skills while also allowing them to play small games, which kept the atmosphere fun. My son, who is quite active, loved every session and even made a friend in the small group. The only downside was the long lines during pickup. It could get a bit chaotic with parents all arriving at once, which made it a little stressful. But once we got through that, he was always excited to tell me about what they did. If you're looking for a good place for your active child to enjoy soccer, I’d recommend this program with the caveats about pickup.
