My 9-year-old son has been attending the soccer program at False Creek Community Centre in Vancouver for the past few weeks, and overall, it's been a positive experience. The instructors, especially a coach named Jake, are genuinely engaged with the kids, encouraging teamwork and skill-building. The outdoor practices are a highlight and keep the kids active and excited. It seems like he has already made a friend in the group, which is great to see. However, I must note that the sessions can get a bit crowded, making it hard for him to get enough individual attention sometimes. The pickup process is also a tad chaotic, with many parents arriving at once, so it’s best to allow some extra time if you can. Still, for the price and what the kids get out of it, I'd recommend the program with these considerations in mind.
