UBC Geering Up Engineering Outreach — Science

My son attended the UBC Geering Up Engineering Outreach program in Vancouver, and overall, it was a positive experience. Each week, he was excited to dive into different science projects, like building a simple electric circuit and creating a small catapult. The staff were genuinely engaged and helped the kids explore their creativity. I appreciated that the groups were small, which allowed for more hands-on attention. However, the pickup process was a bit chaotic with long lines, which made it a little stressful at times. Despite this, my son made a friend and loved his time there. I’d recommend this program, especially for kids who enjoy hands-on projects and are creative thinkers.
