My son recently attended the Coding for Kids — Robotics program at Under the GUI Academy in North Vancouver, and overall, we had a solid experience. The classes are small, allowing for more interaction with the instructor, Jake, who was very engaging. My son built a small robot that could navigate through a maze, which he found thrilling. However, we did experience some long lines during drop-off, which made mornings a bit hectic. The hands-on projects not only taught coding fundamentals but also encouraged creativity, which is exactly what we were looking for. The program is well-structured, and my son has expressed interest in returning for another session. If you're considering this for your child, I would recommend it but plan to arrive a bit early to avoid the lines.
