Steamoji West Vancouver — Robotics

I enrolled my 9-year-old son in the Steamoji Robotics program in West Vancouver, and overall, it was a solid experience. The staff, particularly our instructor Alex, was very engaging and took the time to explain concepts clearly. My son loved working on his project where they built a small robot that could navigate through an obstacle course using sensors. It was a great hands-on learning experience that truly sparked his interest in technology. However, I did find the pickup process a bit chaotic, with long lines that made it tricky to quickly get my child after class. Despite that, he came home excited each week, and it was wonderful to see him so engaged. I would recommend this program for other parents looking for creative and educational activities for their kids in this age range.

The staff, particularly an instructor named Sarah, were very engaging and attentive. The small group size allowed for more hands-on attention, which I appreciated. One downside was the long lines during pickup—though it was manageable, it could be frustrating after a long day. Overall, I’d recommend this program for kids in the age range. Jack really enjoyed it and made some new friends who share his interests, which is a big win for him as he’s quite active and social.
