Roboplanet Academy — Robotics

I enrolled my 9-year-old son in the Roboplanet Academy robotics program in Vancouver, and he enjoyed the interactive projects. He particularly liked building a small robot that could navigate a simple obstacle course. The instructor, Mia, was patient and engaging, which really helped my son feel comfortable. The small group size allowed for more hands-on attention, which I appreciated. The program runs weekly, and I found the pickup a bit chaotic; it took longer than expected to gather all the kids at the end of the session. Overall, I think the program is well-structured and perfect for kids who are creative and focused. I would recommend it, but just be prepared for a busy pickup time.

It would be helpful if the staff could streamline that a bit. Despite this minor annoyance, I think the program is a wonderful introduction to robotics for kids aged 8-10. My son is excited to go back next week, and I would recommend it with the caveat to be prepared for some wait times.
