Questcoast Kids — Nature & Outdoors

I enrolled my 6-year-old in Questcoast Kids' Nature & Outdoors program in Vancouver last week. Overall, it was a solid experience for him. The instructors, particularly a friendly woman named Sarah, did a great job engaging the kids and fostering a sense of exploration. My son came home excited about the birdhouses they built and all the nature games they played. The only downside was the lack of shade; it was a hot day, and I worried about the kids getting too much sun. A few more canopies would have made a difference. Pickup was smooth, and I appreciated that they communicated well about the day's activities, keeping parents informed. If you're looking for an active program that encourages outdoor play, this one might be a good fit. Just be sure to send your child with plenty of water and sunscreen!

My child came home raving about the scavenger hunt they had, where they built a little nature journal filled with leaves and drawings. It was heartwarming to see him so engaged. One downside was the long lines during drop-off; it could be chaotic at times, which made me a bit anxious. However, once in, the small group size really helped the kids bond, and he even made a new friend, which was lovely to hear. I would recommend this program, especially if your child enjoys being active and exploring the outdoors.
