We recently enrolled my 6-year-old in the VSO School of Music's weekly class in Vancouver, focusing on early years music education. The instructor, Sarah, was genuinely engaging, making the lessons fun and interactive. My child had the opportunity to explore various instruments, and it was heartwarming to see them create a small rhythm-based project with classmates. The small group size really allowed for more personalized attention, which I appreciated. However, the pickup process was a bit chaotic, with long lines that made it difficult to keep track of my child. Despite this annoyance, I felt that the program provided a nurturing environment for young musicians, and my child loved the creative aspects of the lessons. Overall, I would recommend it, especially for those looking to introduce their kids to music in a supportive setting.
