Jean Lyons School of Music — Music

My daughter has been attending the Jean Lyons School of Music in Vancouver for the past few weeks, and overall we have had a solid experience. The instructors, like Miss Emily, are very engaged and truly passionate about teaching music. My daughter has been learning to play the keyboard and also got to create her own simple melody in one of the classes. She seems to be thriving in the small group setting, which allows for more personalized attention. However, pick-up can be a bit chaotic at times; we often find ourselves waiting in long lines as parents shuffle in and out. Despite this minor inconvenience, I appreciate the supportive atmosphere the school fosters and would recommend it to other parents looking for a creative outlet for their kids.

My son, Leo, has been attending the Jean Lyons School of Music in Vancouver for about three months now, and overall, we've had a positive experience. His instructor, Ms. Clara, is very engaging and makes each lesson fun. Leo has been learning to play the piano and even got to build a simple percussion instrument during one of the creative projects last week, which he loved. The small group size allows for more personalized attention, and you can see the kids really connecting with the music. However, the pickup line can get quite long, especially on Wednesdays when our session ends. It would be great if they could streamline that a bit. Despite this minor annoyance, I appreciate the supportive environment, and Leo has made some good friends, too. I would recommend this program to other parents looking for a music education option for their young kids.
