My son attended the Colourstrings Conservatory of Music in Vancouver for a full day, and overall, we had a great experience. The instructor, Maria, was engaging and seemed to really connect with the kids. My son especially loved the Music & Movement class, where he got to explore different instruments and rhythm through fun activities. He came home so excited about the maracas he made! One downside was the long lines during pickup; it got a bit chaotic as parents were trying to collect their kids at the same time. But once we got through, my son was all smiles and eager to share what he'd learned. I would recommend this program for other parents looking for a nurturing environment for their kids to explore music. Just be prepared for a little wait at the end of the day.

I enrolled my 6-year-old daughter in the Colourstrings Conservatory of Music program in Vancouver, and overall, it was a positive experience. The instructors, particularly a warm teacher named Emma, were incredibly engaged and seemed to genuinely care about the kids' musical progress. My daughter loved the Music & Movement class, where she got to explore rhythm through fun activities and playing with different instruments. She even made a few friends during the sessions, which was great to see. One downside was the long lines during pickup, which could be chaotic at times. It would help if they managed that better. However, the communication from the staff was solid, keeping us updated about the daily activities and any changes. I would recommend this program for parents looking to nurture their child’s musical interest in a supportive and creative environment.
