We recently enrolled my daughter in the Vancouver Ballet Society's weekly dance program for kids aged 8 to 10. During her first class, she was excited to learn a new routine with her instructor, Mira, who had a wonderful way of engaging the children. My daughter particularly loved how they combined ballet with some contemporary elements, allowing her to express her creativity. The small group size was a definite plus, as it gave each child the opportunity to receive more attention. However, I did notice that the waiting area was a bit crowded during pickup, which added some stress to an otherwise enjoyable experience. Overall, I appreciate the inclusive environment that VBS fosters, and I would recommend this program for any child who loves to dance.
