The Dance Centre — Dance

My daughter started attending The Dance Centre in Vancouver last month, and overall, it has been a positive experience. The instructor, Mia, is engaging and patient, which has helped my daughter feel comfortable in her beginner ballet class. She has already learned a few basic positions and even performed a small dance during the last session. The small group size means that Mia can give individual attention to each child, which is a big plus. However, I did notice that the lobby can get quite crowded when parents come to pick up their kids, making it a bit chaotic at times. Despite that, my daughter really loves going, and she has made a new friend in class, which is wonderful to see. I would recommend this program for parents looking for a friendly dance environment where their children can flourish.

My daughter really loved the creative projects where they got to express themselves through dance moves. The small group size allowed for personalized attention, which I appreciated. However, the pickup process could be improved. We often found ourselves waiting in long lines, which was a bit frustrating, especially at the end of a busy day. Despite this small annoyance, I would recommend this program for its focus on creativity and the enthusiastic staff. It’s a great fit for active children who enjoy being expressive. My daughter made a new friend in the class, which was a nice bonus!
