Mount Pleasant Community Centre — Climbing

My son recently joined the climbing program at Mount Pleasant Community Centre in Vancouver, and overall, it was a solid experience. The climbing wall was great, and he really enjoyed learning new techniques. The instructor, Jake, was enthusiastic and kept the kids engaged throughout the session. However, I did notice that the sessions can get a bit crowded at times, making it hard for each child to get individual attention. On the plus side, the small group sizes helped mitigate this issue somewhat. My son, who is quite active, made a new friend during the climbing challenges, which added to his enjoyment. The program runs weekly, and while the fee is on the higher side, I feel it offers good value considering the quality of the activity. I would recommend this program for kids who are looking to explore climbing in a supportive and fun environment.
