My daughter attended the U of T University College Summer Drama program this past July, and overall, she had a solid experience. She was part of the Acting track, where she was able to create a short play with a group of just eight students, allowing for a lot of personalized instruction from the instructor, Sarah. My daughter really thrived in this small setting and even made a couple of friends from different countries. The final performance showcased the creativity and hard work of the participants, which was great to see. However, the tuition fee felt steep, especially with additional costs for optional activities. Also, the drop-off process on the first day was a bit chaotic, but we got through it. If your teen is interested in the performing arts and can handle the price tag, I’d recommend this program as a great opportunity to develop skills and make international connections.
