My 12-year-old daughter recently completed a six-week Theatre program at The Theatre Centre in Toronto. The instructors, including a particularly enthusiastic one named Maya, really engaged the kids with some exciting creative projects. They worked on developing original scenes, which allowed my daughter to explore her creative side and collaborate closely with a small group of peers. I appreciated the intimate setting of the venue, which made the kids feel safe and free to express themselves. However, I did find the pickup process a bit chaotic at times, with lines that seemed longer than necessary. It would be great if they could streamline that part. Overall, I believe this program is a solid choice for kids interested in theatre, and I’d recommend it, especially for those who enjoy creative activities.
