I attended the weekly theatre program at Meridian Hall in Toronto with my 9-year-old son. From the moment we arrived, the staff, especially our instructor Lisa, were engaging and made the kids feel welcome. My son was thrilled to participate in building a mini-set for their upcoming play. It was a hands-on experience that really sparked his creativity. The small group size meant he got lots of individual attention, which I appreciated. However, we did have to wait in long lines to check in, which was a bit frustrating. Overall, it was a solid experience that encouraged my son to explore his interests in theatre. I’d recommend it for other parents looking for a creative outlet for their children, just be prepared for a bit of a wait at pickup.

My daughter, who is quite creative, recently attended the weekly theatre program at Meridian Hall in Toronto. She had the opportunity to work on a short play, and it was wonderful to see her so engaged. The instructor, Jamie, was very encouraging and gave the kids space to express their ideas. However, I did find the process of picking her up a bit chaotic at times, with long lines forming at the end of each session. Despite that, she made some new friends and really enjoyed collaborating on creative projects. The small group size helped her feel more comfortable sharing her thoughts. Overall, I would recommend this program for families looking for a supportive environment where kids can explore their artistic sides, but just be prepared for some waiting on pickup days.
