CAA Ed Mirvish Theatre — Theatre

My child and I attended the CAA Ed Mirvish Theatre's kids program last Saturday, and overall, it was a delightful experience. The instructors, particularly Sarah, were very engaged with the kids, helping them explore their creativity through acting exercises. My son, who is 6, was excited to participate in a mini-performance where he got to play a small character in a skit they created. His confidence really shone through! We found the pickup process a bit chaotic, as there were many families gathering at the same time, which made it tough to find my child initially. The venue itself is beautiful and historic, which added a special touch to the day. While it can get crowded, especially during peak times, I believe it’s worth it for the creative experience. My son is already eager to return next week, and I appreciate how the staff fosters such a welcoming environment. I would recommend this program for families looking to spark a love for theatre in their children.

The ticket price seems fair for the experience, but be aware of potential add-ons like snacks that may add up. Still, I would recommend this program for parents looking to introduce their kids to the joy of theatre. Just be prepared for a bit of a wait at the start.
