ARTSies Inc — Theatre

My daughter, who is 9 and a bit shy, has been attending the ARTSies Inc theatre program in Toronto for the last few weeks, and overall, we are quite pleased. The staff, especially our instructor Mark, have been incredibly engaging, which has helped her come out of her shell. She built a fantastic little puppet for their upcoming performance, which she is excited about. The program genuinely fosters creativity and self-expression. One small annoyance was the long lines during pickup; it could be better organized to ensure a smoother experience. However, the friendly atmosphere and focus on individual growth make it worth it. I can see her confidence growing each week, and it's wonderful to see her make friends who share her passion for the arts. I recommend it, especially for kids who are a little shy or creative.

My daughter, who is usually quite shy, really blossomed while working on her character for a short skit. She even built her own puppet for a creative project, which she was so proud of. One downside was the pickup process; on the last day, it felt a bit chaotic with long lines forming as parents waited to collect their kids. I think they could streamline that a bit better. But, seeing her gain confidence in her creativity made it worth it. I’d recommend this program to parents looking for a supportive environment for their kids to discover their artistic side.
