I enrolled my 9-year-old son in the tennis program at North Toronto Tennis Club this summer. The staff, particularly our instructor Mike, were genuinely enthusiastic and engaged with the kids. My son was excited to learn how to serve, and the small group size allowed for plenty of individual attention. They focused on not just basics but also some fun games which kept the kids active and motivated. One downside was the long lines to sign in — it took longer than I expected on the first day, which was a bit chaotic. Overall, it’s a solid program that has helped my son build skills and confidence while making new friends, which was a great bonus. I’d recommend it, especially for kids who enjoy being active outdoors.

We enrolled our 9-year-old at the North Toronto Tennis Club for the weekly tennis program, and overall, it was a solid experience. The instructors, like Jason, were genuinely engaged and made sure each kid got personal attention. My child loved learning to serve and even made a new friend during practice. The small group size allowed for focused instruction, which was a big plus. The courts were nice, but the program did get a bit crowded at times, especially on weekends, which led to some waiting around between drills. It would be great if they could manage the number of participants better. The location in Lytton Park is lovely and makes for a nice outdoor atmosphere. If your child is active and looking to improve their tennis skills, I would recommend this program with the caveat about the crowds.
