My son just finished his first term at Moore Park Tennis Club in Toronto, and overall, it was a positive experience. The instructors, particularly a coach named Sarah, were very engaging and made the classes enjoyable for the kids. My son, who is quite active, improved his skills while playing doubles with other kids in his age group. The small group size really allowed for individual attention, which was great. One annoyance was the long lines at check-in before sessions, especially when we were running late. It would help if they had a more streamlined process for pickups. Nonetheless, my son made a few friends and looked forward to going each week. I’d recommend this program for anyone considering tennis for their kids.

We enrolled our 9-year-old in the tennis program at Moore Park Tennis Club in Toronto this summer, and overall, it was a positive experience. The instructors, particularly a coach named Alex, were genuinely enthusiastic and attentive, helping kids develop their skills while making it fun. Our child especially loved the drills focused on teamwork which also encouraged making new friends. However, we did encounter some long lines during pickup when multiple classes finished around the same time, which could be challenging with the excitement of kids running around. Communication from the staff was solid, with reminders of upcoming events and competitions via email. For the price of about $100 for the season, it feels like a worthwhile investment, especially for active kids wanting to improve their tennis skills in an inclusive environment. We would recommend this program, just be prepared for a bit of a wait at the end of the day.
