Soccer school UFootball — Soccer

I enrolled my 9-year-old son in the UFootball Soccer School in Toronto, and overall, it was a solid experience. The sessions are held in various parks around the city, which is great for outdoor time, especially during spring. The coach, Sam, was very engaging and made sure each child got the attention they needed. My son improved his passing skills and even made a friend, which was nice to see. However, the pickup process could be a bit chaotic, with long lines sometimes forming as parents waited. Despite this minor annoyance, the small group sizes allowed for effective learning and a fun atmosphere. For $355 for the term, it feels like a good investment if your child is active and enjoys soccer. We plan to continue next season, but be prepared for the pickup delays.

The small group sizes allow for plenty of individual attention, which is great for his confidence. However, I did notice that the drop-off can be a bit chaotic, with kids running in different directions and parents not knowing where to park, leading to long lines at times. We also had a couple of weeks where sessions were delayed in starting, which made it a bit frustrating. Despite these minor annoyances, the outdoor time and social interactions have kept my son excited to go every week. I definitely recommend it for active kids looking to improve their soccer skills.
