My son attended the Power Soccer School of Excellence in Toronto last week and had a great time. He’s 9 years old and very active, which made the full-day program perfect for him. The coaches, like Coach Tim, were genuinely engaged with the kids, providing personalized tips that really helped my son improve his dribbling skills. He came home excited, talking about a new friend he made during the passing drills. The pickup process was smooth, although it did get a bit crowded at times with parents, especially right after the sessions ended. I appreciated the structure of the day, which included a good mix of skill development and fun games, allowing the kids to stay active outdoors rather than being cooped up inside. Overall, a solid program, but I’d recommend getting there slightly earlier for pickup to avoid the rush.

I enrolled my 6-year-old son in the Power Soccer School of Excellence summer camp in Toronto, and he had a great time overall. The instructors, especially Sam, were very engaged with the kids, making sure everyone got to participate and learn at their own pace. My son really enjoyed the skills training and even built up his confidence as he made a few new friends. Pickup was smooth most days, which I appreciated, but I did experience a couple of long lines that could be frustrating, especially on the first day as parents were getting used to the drop-off process. It can feel a bit chaotic, so getting there early is advisable. However, my son came home happy and excited about soccer every day, so I would recommend the camp with that caveat in mind for new parents.
