Lakeridge Ski Resort — Skiing & Snowboarding

We took my 9-year-old to Lakeridge Ski Resort for their weekly skiing program, and overall, it was a solid experience. The instructors, especially a friendly guy named Mike, really engaged with the kids, helping them with techniques and encouraging them to push their limits. My child was excited to progress from the bunny hill to an actual ski run by the end of the day. However, we did encounter long lines at the lift, which caused some frustration as we had to stand around for quite a while. I wish the flow could’ve been managed better. Nevertheless, the outdoor time and small group sizes made it worthwhile. My child had a blast, made a couple of new friends, and we’ll likely keep coming back. Just be prepared for the wait at busy times!

However, we did experience some long lines at the lifts, which could be frustrating, especially when the weather was colder. If you're considering this program, be prepared for a bit of a wait during peak times. The location is a quick drive from Toronto, making it convenient for a day trip. With the right expectations, I would recommend Lakeridge for kids looking to become comfortable on skis or snowboards and meet new friends.
