Robolab — Science

My son, who is 9 years old, recently completed a session at Robolab in North York, Toronto, and overall we had a solid experience. His instructor, Sam, was very engaging and made the robotics concepts easy for the kids to understand. They built a simple robot that could move in response to voice commands, which thrilled him. He was so proud to show it off at home! One minor annoyance was the long lines during pickup; it took longer than I expected to get him at the end of class. However, I appreciated the small class size as it allowed for more one-on-one attention. My son is an active kid, and this program not only kept him engaged but also sparked his interest in STEM. I would recommend this program, but be prepared for possible delays at pickup time.

My daughter has been attending the RoboLab — Science program in Toronto for a few weeks now, and overall, I can say it's been a solid experience. The small class sizes really allow the instructors, like Alex, to give individual attention, which is great for kids who are a bit shy. My daughter has loved building her own robot and learning how to program it to move. It’s engaging and perfect for cultivating her interest in STEM. One minor annoyance was the drop-off situation, which felt a bit chaotic; there were a lot of parents trying to pick up their kids all at once, making it hard to find my daughter at times. Still, the staff have been very friendly and helpful throughout the process. I appreciate how they've made it a welcoming environment for all kids, especially for those who thrive on creative projects. I would recommend this program with the caveat to plan ahead during pickup.
