My son recently attended the Kids Coding School in Toronto, and overall, it was a solid experience. He participated in the science program where he worked on building a simple robot. The instructor, Sarah, was attentive and clearly passionate about introducing the kids to coding concepts. I was impressed by the small class size, which allowed for individualized attention. However, I did notice that there was quite a bit of screen time, which I wasn't thrilled about, especially given the focus on hands-on learning. The pickup process was organized, making it easy for me to grab him after class. Despite this minor annoyance, my son seemed to really enjoy the creative projects and even made a new friend. I would recommend this program with the caveat to balance screen time with other interactive approaches.
