Envision Robotics STEM Education Studio - Robotics, Coding, 3D Printing — Science

We recently attended the Envision Robotics STEM Education Studio in Toronto with my 9-year-old son. He was excited to get his hands on building a small robot and learning some basics of coding. The instructor, Jamie, was great at keeping the kids engaged and encouraged them to think creatively about their projects. The small group size allowed for more personalized attention, which I appreciated. However, the pickup process was a bit chaotic, with long lines that made it slightly stressful at the end of the class. Despite this, my son made a friend during the session and has been enthusiastically discussing his ideas for future projects. Overall, I think it's a solid program for kids who are active and enjoy hands-on learning. Just be prepared for a little wait at pickup.

The instructors, particularly Laura, were very engaging and attentive to the kids, encouraging them as they worked on their robotics projects. My son was thrilled to build a small robot that could move based on the coding he learned. He really enjoyed the hands-on aspect of the class. However, the drop-off on the first day was a bit chaotic, with many parents and kids trying to find their way in. It would have been helpful to have clearer signage or staff directing us. Overall, I’d recommend this program if your child enjoys being active and creative. It’s a great fit for kids who like to tinker and learn by doing.
