We enrolled our 9-year-old in the Campfire Circle Science program last week in Toronto, and overall, it was a solid experience. My daughter, who is usually a bit shy, was able to engage with the other kids and even made a friend during outdoor experiments with plants and insects. The staff, particularly an instructor named Mia, really encouraged the kids to explore and ask questions, which kept her engaged throughout the day. One minor annoyance was the long lines during drop-off; it felt a bit chaotic at times. Despite this, the creative projects centered around environmental science were fantastic, and I appreciate that they cater to children facing serious illnesses. The full-day schedule and outdoor time were well-structured, allowing her to be active while learning. Given my daughter's shy nature, this program was a good fit, fostering her creativity without overwhelming her.
