I took my 9-year-old to the Action Potential Lab in Toronto for their weekly science class, and overall, it was a pretty solid experience. My child was excited to participate in a hands-on project where they built a simple rocket and learned about propulsion. The instructor, Sarah, was engaging and made sure every child felt included in the process. One downside was the long lines at pickup; it seemed a bit chaotic with parents all arriving at once, which was a little stressful. However, once we got through, my child couldn’t stop talking about how much fun they had, especially making new friends during the activities. The small group size definitely helped everyone get more attention from the staff. I’d recommend this program for families looking for a creative outlet for their kids, just be prepared for a bit of a wait at the end of the session.
