Zebra Robotics Toronto Danforth — Robotics

We recently enrolled my 9-year-old son in the weekly robotics program at Zebra Robotics in Toronto's Danforth area. He was really excited about building his own robot and learning how to program it. The instructor, Matt, was very engaging and made sure every kid understood the concepts before moving on to the next step. I appreciated the hands-on approach, as my son was fully involved in creating his robot. However, the pickup line was a bit chaotic, with many parents arriving at once, which made it a little stressful for me. Despite that, the staff was friendly and organized the kids well. My son even made a new friend during the session, which was great to see. Overall, I think this program is a solid choice for kids interested in robotics, just be prepared for a bit of a wait at pickup.

The small group size allowed for plenty of one-on-one time, which I appreciated. However, the check-in process was a bit chaotic, with long lines forming at the beginning of the class. My son enjoyed collaborating with peers, and he even made a friend there, which was a nice bonus. Overall, I think the program encourages creativity and problem-solving, although I would recommend arriving early to avoid the initial rush. We're looking forward to returning next week!
