creative

My son just finished the robotics program at Vertex STEM Education in Toronto, and overall, it was a solid experience. He is 9 and has always been interested in building and coding, so this program fit him well. Each week, he worked on different projects, including building a small robot that could navigate a maze. The instructor, Sarah, was enthusiastic and really engaged with the kids, which kept their attention and made learning fun. The only downside was the pickup process; there were some long lines, which made it a bit chaotic at times. However, the small group size allowed for personalized attention, which my son really appreciated. He also made a friend there, which was a nice bonus. I would recommend this program, especially for kids who enjoy hands-on learning and creativity.

outgoing

My son recently attended the Robotics program at Vertex STEM Education in Toronto, and overall, it was a solid experience. He enjoyed building a small robot that could navigate a simple obstacle course. The instructor, Alex, was very engaging and clearly knowledgeable, which kept the kids excited about the projects. However, I did find the drop-off process a bit chaotic, with too many parents and kids crowded into the entrance area. It made the first few sessions somewhat stressful as I worried about losing track of him. That said, the small group size allowed for more individual attention, which I appreciated. My son made a friend there and is now really interested in robotics, which was the goal. I'd definitely recommend it for outgoing kids who enjoy hands-on learning, as long as you can manage the drop-off situation.
