Create Art Studio — Photography

My son attended the full-day photography program at Create Art Studio in Toronto last week, and overall, it was a solid experience. He loved exploring the different photography techniques, especially when they went outside to practice shooting nature shots. The instructor, Sarah, was very engaging and encouraged the kids to express themselves creatively. The small group size allowed for more personalized attention, which I appreciated. However, the drop-off was a bit chaotic, with a lot of kids arriving at the same time, making it hard to get my son settled initially. Additionally, by the end of the day, the room felt a little crowded, which might overwhelm some kids. Despite these minor annoyances, I noticed that my son came home feeling proud of the photos he took and even made a friend during the program. I would recommend this program for creative kids aged 8 to 10 who enjoy hands-on activities.

They covered different techniques, and my daughter loved experimenting with angles and lighting. She even created a small photo collage by the end of the day, which she was proud to show off. The only downside was the long lines during drop-off and pick-up, which were a bit chaotic and stressful. However, once we got through that, I felt comfortable leaving her there for the day. I would recommend this program for kids who are creative and looking for a fun way to express themselves through photography.
