Campfire Circle — Nature & Outdoors

My son attended the Campfire Circle program in Toronto this summer, and overall, it was quite a rewarding experience for him. The instructors, like Jenna, were clearly dedicated and really brought the activities to life, helping the kids feel comfortable in the outdoor setting. He particularly enjoyed building a birdhouse and learning to identify different trees, which sparked his curiosity about nature. The outdoor time was refreshing, and he made a friend, which is always a plus. However, I did notice that the pickup process could get a bit chaotic, with long lines at times, especially on the last day when families were excited to reunite with their kids. Still, I would recommend it for other families looking for a unique outdoor experience. Just be prepared for some waiting when picking up your child.

It was heartwarming to see him engage with the group and even make a new friend. The staff, especially a wonderful instructor named Sarah, were great at keeping the kids excited and involved. One small annoyance was the long lines during pickup; it felt a bit chaotic, especially with younger kids in tow. But once we were in, the atmosphere was very supportive and welcoming. I really appreciated how the program catered to children with serious illnesses in such an inclusive way. We will definitely return next week for another session.
