Camp Naorca — Nature & Outdoors

We enrolled our 9-year-old son in Camp Naorca's Nature & Outdoors program in Toronto, and he absolutely loved it. Each day he came home excited to share stories about the various outdoor activities, from building shelters to exploring different habitats. The instructors, like Sarah, were genuinely engaged and encouraged the kids to connect with nature. One of the highlights for him was making a new friend during a group scavenger hunt. However, the drop-off process could be a bit chaotic with long lines, which made it challenging to get him settled in quickly. The price felt reasonable considering the full-day experience and range of activities. Overall, I'd recommend it, especially for active kids who thrive outdoors.

My son attended Camp Naorca in Toronto last week, and overall it was a solid experience. He’s 9 years old and very active, so I was pleased to see the focus on outdoor activities. He especially enjoyed building a small birdhouse and learning about local wildlife in the forest. The staff, especially an instructor named Emma, were engaging and genuinely interested in the kids’ learning. However, there were some long lines during drop-off in the mornings, which was a bit frustrating as we often had to wait for 15-20 minutes. While the camp is on the pricier side, around $350, I do believe the small group sizes made it worthwhile. My son came home every day with stories of new games and friends he made, which reassured me that he was having a great time. I would recommend it, but be prepared for that hectic morning drop-off.
