The Royal Conservatory of Music — Music

We enrolled my 7-year-old at The Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto for their weekly music classes, and overall, it's been a solid experience. The instructor, Sarah, is particularly engaging and works well with the kids. My child loved creating their own simple melody using the xylophones, which was a fun and creative project for them. The small group size definitely allowed for more individual attention, which is a plus. However, we did encounter some long lines during pickup, which can be a bit chaotic. It would be helpful if they could improve the flow of parents picking up kids. Despite that, my child is excited to attend each week and has made some friends along the way. I’d recommend this program to other parents looking for a nurturing environment for their little ones to explore music.

Her instructor, Ms. Emily, is incredibly engaging and has a knack for connecting with the kids, which really helps in keeping them interested in the lessons. They have been working on building their own simple instruments, which my daughter has loved. It’s been wonderful to see her creativity shine through in each class. However, the pickup process can sometimes be chaotic, with long lines forming as parents wait to collect their children. It can be a bit overwhelming, especially when the kids are excited and eager to leave. Overall, I think the program is a great fit for young, creative children and offers a nice balance of structure and fun.
