Mint Music — Music

My son, who is 9 and very outgoing, has been attending Mint Music in Toronto for about two months. He takes guitar lessons with a great instructor named Lisa, who really engages the kids and makes learning fun. Each week, he comes home excited to show us new chords and songs, and they've even started working on a fun group project where they write a song together. The small group size has really helped him get the attention he needs. However, the drop-off process can feel a bit chaotic at times, especially with kids rushing in and parents trying to get them settled. Overall, we’ve had a positive experience and I would recommend it, especially for kids who love music and want to explore different instruments.

My daughter, who is 9 and quite creative, started attending the Mint Music program in Toronto about two months ago. Sam encourages her to explore different styles, and my daughter has already composed a short piece that she proudly performed at the end of her last session. The small class size allows for individualized attention, which has been beneficial. However, I did find the check-in process a bit chaotic, with long lines on busy days. Overall, I feel this program is a solid choice for young budding musicians, just be prepared for a little wait at the start. We're looking forward to her continuing growth in music here.
