Classical Music Conservatory — Music

My son recently started attending the Classical Music Conservatory in Toronto for his weekly music class, and overall, it’s been a solid experience. We signed him up for a group class where they focus on basic music theory and instrument play. His instructor, Sarah, has been really engaging and does a great job of keeping the kids interested. I loved seeing my son build his confidence while learning to play the xylophone. One minor annoyance was the long lines at drop-off, which can get a bit chaotic, especially if you’re running late. However, my son has made a couple of friends already, which is a plus for his shy personality. The price point is reasonable for the quality of instruction, and I appreciate that they offer trial lessons for first-timers. Overall, I would recommend this program with the caveat to allow extra time for drop-off.

She was a bit shy in the beginning, but her instructor, Mark, was incredibly patient and engaging, which really helped her open up. They focused on her interest in piano, and by the end of their session, she had composed a short melody that she was proud to share. The small group size allowed for personalized attention, which I appreciated. However, the check-in process was a bit chaotic, and we often found ourselves in long lines, especially during peak hours. Overall, I think it’s a solid place for budding musicians, especially if your child enjoys a more personalized learning environment.
