Canada Music Academy — Music

We enrolled our 9-year-old daughter in the Canada Music Academy for guitar lessons, and so far, it's been a pretty solid experience. The instructor, Lisa, has been engaging and patient, which has really helped our daughter feel comfortable. She built her first song within just a few weeks, which was a big confidence booster for her. The small group size allows for more personalized attention, something we really appreciate. However, the weekly pickup can get quite hectic, with a long line sometimes forming outside the studio. It makes for an awkward wait, especially with younger kids. Overall, I would recommend this program to other parents looking for a creative outlet for their children, but be prepared for a bit of a wait during pickup times.

We enrolled my 9-year-old son in guitar lessons at Canada Music Academy in Toronto, and overall, it's been a solid experience. His instructor, Jake, has been incredibly patient and engaging, which has helped him really enjoy the learning process. Each week, they focus on different songs, and he has recently learned to play 'Twinkle Twinkle Little Star,' which he proudly performed for the family. The small group size really helps with personalized attention, and the communication from the staff has been excellent. My only concern has been the long lines during pickup; it can get a bit chaotic, especially if you're in a rush. Despite that, I still recommend the program for its engaging staff and supportive environment. It’s great to see my son so excited about music!
