My 9-year-old son has been taking saxophone lessons at Aryze Studio in downtown Toronto for a few months now. The instructor, Alvin, has a friendly approach that really helps my son feel comfortable, especially since he can be a bit shy. They cover a variety of music, which keeps my son engaged and excited about learning. The small group size allows for more personalized attention, which I really appreciate. One minor annoyance was the long lines during pickup, especially on the first day, but I think that was just a one-off situation as it has improved since then. Overall, I’d recommend Aryze Studio for anyone looking for flexible and quality music lessons in the city. My son has shown great progress and is already planning to perform at a school event soon!

We recently started attending saxophone lessons at Aryze Studio in downtown Toronto with my 6-year-old son. The location on Queen Street West is convenient, and the atmosphere is welcoming. Our instructor, Mia, was fantastic with the kids, making the lesson both fun and educational. My son loved learning to play 'Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star' on his saxophone in a small group of three kids, which allowed for more personalized attention. One annoyance was the long wait during pickup, especially as the lessons often ran slightly over. It would be helpful if they could stagger the end times a bit more. However, the communication from the staff was clear, and they kept us updated on our son's progress. Overall, I would recommend Aryze for kids who are shy or just starting out. It's a great way to introduce them to music in a supportive environment.
