We recently enrolled our 6-year-old in the Impact Kids Martial Arts Academy in Toronto. The after-school classes focus on building confidence and discipline, which really attracted us. On pickup days, I’ve noticed the staff is consistently engaged and attentive, which makes the experience smoother. My child loved learning how to perform basic karate moves and was excited to show us the kick they practiced. The small group size allowed individualized attention, which I appreciated. However, the classes can get a bit crowded at times, especially after school, leading to a slightly chaotic environment. Overall, our child has made friends and looks forward to each session. I would recommend this program, but I suggest visiting during a typical pickup time to gauge the crowding firsthand.
