We recently enrolled my son in the Evoke Martial Arts & Kickboxing program in Toronto, and overall, it was a positive experience. The classes are held weekly, and I appreciated the small group size, which allowed for more personalized attention from the instructor, Mike. My son loved learning basic kickboxing techniques and even got to spar a little, which he found thrilling. The environment felt inclusive and encouraging for all skill levels. However, I did notice that drop-off could get a bit chaotic, especially with parents trying to get their kids settled at the same time. It might be helpful for them to streamline that process a bit. Despite that, my son is excited to continue, and I’d recommend the program to other parents looking for a great way to keep their kids active and engaged.

We recently enrolled my 7-year-old at Evoke Martial Arts & Kickboxing in Toronto, and overall, it has been a solid experience. The weekly classes are well-structured, and the small group size really allows the instructor, Mike, to connect with each child. My son particularly enjoyed learning kickboxing techniques and even managed to break a board during his first session, which made him feel accomplished. One minor annoyance was the long lines during pickup; it gets quite busy, and it took us extra time to get out of the parking lot. However, the engaged staff kept things moving as best they could. My child is very active and has made a few friends already, which is a plus. While there are a few organizational issues to iron out, the program is effective in teaching martial arts in a fun and healthy environment. I would recommend it for kids looking to enhance their fitness and self-defense skills.
