We enrolled our 8-year-old in the Magical Taste of China program in downtown Toronto, and overall, it was a solid experience. The language sessions were tailored well for kids, focusing on practical vocabulary, and our instructor, Mei, was genuinely engaging. My child enjoyed learning simple phrases while having fun with peers. The small group size really helped, allowing for more personal interaction and encouragement. The halal snacks served, especially the barbecued kebabs, were a hit—my child couldn't stop raving about them! However, we did encounter some crowded moments during the pickup, which made it a bit chaotic. We found it a little overwhelming as my child is on the shy side. Nonetheless, they did make a couple of friends during the program, which was nice to see. I would recommend it, especially for kids looking to build their language skills in a fun setting, but be prepared for a lively atmosphere at pickup.

My daughter, who is outgoing and loves to explore different cultures, attended the Magical Taste of China program in downtown Toronto last week. The atmosphere was relaxed and the staff, especially our instructor Mei, were incredibly engaged with the kids. She helped them learn some basic Mandarin phrases while also encouraging them to try new Xinjiang dishes. My daughter especially loved the kebabs and couldn’t stop talking about the flavors. The small group size allowed for more interaction, which I appreciated. However, the pickup process was a bit chaotic, and we ended up waiting in a long line. Despite this minor annoyance, I think the experience was worthwhile. The combination of language and food made it a unique learning opportunity. I would definitely recommend this program for kids who are curious and enjoy hands-on learning.
