My daughter and I recently attended the horseback riding program at Toronto Equestrian Downtown, and overall, it was a solid experience. The location is unique, right in the Horse Palace, which adds to the charm. Our instructor, Sarah, was engaging and really took the time to help the kids connect with the horses. My daughter, who is quite active, loved learning how to groom the horse and even took a short ride around the arena. One minor annoyance was the wait to get started; we spent about 15 minutes in line before our lesson began, which was frustrating for an eager child. However, once we got going, the small group size allowed for personalized attention. If you're looking for a fun and educational way to introduce your child to horseback riding, this program is worth considering, just be prepared for a bit of a wait at the beginning.

My daughter has been attending the Toronto Equestrian Downtown horseback riding program for a couple of months now, and overall, we are quite pleased. The instructors, especially Emma, clearly have a passion for horses and teaching. They created a comfortable atmosphere for the kids, which helped my daughter, who is quite active, really get involved in the riding. She learned to groom a horse and even rode a pony around the indoor arena, which made her day. One slight annoyance was the long lines during pickup on our last visit, which made it a bit hectic. However, once we got inside, everything moved quite smoothly. The facility is lovely and provides a unique experience right in the heart of Toronto. I would recommend this program to other parents, especially those with kids in the 8-10 age range looking for a hands-on, engaging activity.
