Cedar Creek Riding Stables Inc — Horseback Riding

We enrolled our 9-year-old son in the weekly horseback riding program at Cedar Creek Riding Stables in Toronto, and overall, it was a solid experience. The instructor, Mia, was incredibly engaging and made sure every child felt included and safe. My son learned to groom and ride a horse named Daisy, which he thoroughly enjoyed. He came home excited every week with new skills and stories about his time with the horses. The only downside was the long lines during pickup, which could be improved for a smoother transition. However, the small group size allowed for personalized attention, which was a big plus. If your child is active and loves animals, this program is definitely worth considering.

That said, my daughter came home with a huge smile, telling me all about her new horse friend. If you’re looking for a way for your child to connect with nature and learn some responsibility, I’d definitely recommend this program with the note to arrive early to avoid the lines.
