We recently took my 6-year-old daughter to a weekly dance program at The National Ballet of Canada in Toronto. The instructor, Mia, was fantastic with the kids, encouraging them while also keeping things organized. My daughter practiced simple ballet moves and even crafted a little dance with her peers, which she loved. While the program itself was great, we did encounter some long lines during pickup, which made it a bit chaotic at times. Despite this, Mia's engaging teaching style and the warm atmosphere made it a worthwhile experience. My daughter, who tends to be shy, made a friend and seemed more confident after participating. I would definitely recommend this program for young dancers, but just be prepared for potential wait times after class.

We recently attended a dance performance at The National Ballet of Canada in Toronto, and my 6-year-old had a wonderful time. The staff were very engaged, which made the experience smoother, especially during pickup after the show. My child was thrilled to see their favorite characters come to life on stage. I noticed a few kids were a bit restless, which made the venue feel a bit crowded at times, but that's to be expected with such a popular program. The connection my child felt to the dancers was evident; they even made a friend who shares the same passion for dance! I appreciated the emphasis on inclusivity, as every child seemed to be welcomed and appreciated. Overall, it was a lovely outing and I would recommend it, but be prepared for a bustling atmosphere. We will definitely be back for another show in the future.
