Dancing With Carolyn! — Dance

My daughter, Lily, has been attending Dancing With Carolyn! in Toronto for the past few months, and overall, it has been a positive experience for her. She’s only 6 and a bit shy, but the instructor, Carolyn, has been fantastic at encouraging her to express herself through dance. The classes are structured in a fun way, incorporating storytelling which Lily loves. She recently created a dance based on her favorite fairy tale, and it was wonderful to see her so engaged. One issue we faced was the long lines during pickup, which can be frustrating, especially after a busy day. However, once we got through, Carolyn took a moment to chat with us about Lily’s progress, which made us feel included in the process. If you’re looking for a welcoming environment that balances technique with creativity, I think this program is worth considering, just be prepared for some waiting at pickup time.
